Land Rover Links Here is a part that we are looking for for a 1995 Land Rover Discovery. We are probably the only Land Rover owner that used a key rather then a remote until the lock broke. We found this plastic part wore out and broke. Now we have one remote but I want to fix this lock. The entire lock assembly runs about $125 new but I am sure someone in the world of Land Rovers will have this part and save me needing to remove the entire assembly. If you have this in your junk yard of Rovers let us know!
Well it has been a while and I am guessing a few wonder what we did to fix it. Well we bought a new lock and removed the e-clip. Took the plastic part off and repaired the lock in the door while ON the truck so it was an easy fix. A costly piece of plastic but we did not have to re-key the lock.
Here are a few links that we have found helpful for Land Rover Owners! I hope that these help you find what you are looking for! If you are looking for parts for your Rover stick with Land Rover Parts. Overall the cost of the "High Quality Parts" that you need for these vehicles costs about the same as the genuine product so do not save the few dollars in parts!
Our local dealer is Fields Rover Orlando. I must say I would have to highly recommend the service department there. Plus some real good cookies and Ice Cream while you wait watching Land Rover Off Road Videos that are far beyond what you would even consider doing with yours.
