Epidendrum Orange Blaze

These like a lot of sun and grow rather quickly.  This and a similar that is known as Epidendrum radicans that is quite popular.  This one has a rather large flower (about 2").  These can be grown in both baskets or pots.  Many people grow them in a pot with a bark mixture and place them in the ground for the summer and remove them when the temps get below 50F.  We prefer a slightly shaded area but many grow in full sun so we are growing in the brightest part of the greenhouse.
