Cirrhopetalum putidum This is a nice really neat plant. It is not the best smelling thing but it is very nice looking. This flower just opened this morning and the plant is headed to a show so I wanted to make sure we got a shot posted for you to see.
These like to be a bit moister. A lot of grower use a wire mesh basket full of sphagnum moss to grow in. We have a different species growing in a plastic pot with seedling bark and another in a wood basket with orchid mix. Both are doing very well.
This is care like plants in the Cirrhopetalum / Bulbophyllum Family.
